Thirty-three classical Kerala therapies, grouped into six families: head and face therapies, Dhara (the continuous stream), Abhyanga and massage, Kizhi and sudation, Vasti therapies, and doctor-supervised specialised procedures.
Each therapy has its own page describing what it is, how long a session runs, what actually happens during one, how to prepare, who should not have it and what it is traditionally used for. Sessions run from 15 to 90 minutes, and most complaints are treated as a course of 7 to 21 sessions rather than a single visit.
