Panchakarma means five actions — Vamana (therapeutic emesis), Virechana (purgation), Vasti (medicated enema), Nasya (nasal instillation) and Raktamokshana (blood-letting). Each is a specific classical procedure with its own indications and contraindications, not an item on a spa menu.

Which of the five you receive — and whether you receive any — is decided at consultation, not at booking. Preparation may begin days before the procedure itself, and the aftercare instructions on food, rest and activity matter as much as the procedure.

Most patients arrange the course as consecutive days, and the doctor will tell you in advance which dates need a light day afterwards so you can plan work around it.
